If you walked by the Bishops Lounge the week before spring break, you probably saw a bunch of different booths talking about causes. But there was one especially that gave out some really handy and important free water bottles in exchange for some very important information regarding the sustainability and water conservation on campus.
A combination of the Student Philanthropy Council and the Students for Environmental Activism and Knowledge got together and set up a really cool initiative. Water is an important part of our daily lives, and being dehydrated can turn an okay day to a bad day quite quickly. Have you ever seen the water refilling stations around campus? They can be helpful and hydrating in your rush to class, to a sports practice, or any other event.
SEAK and SPC have sponsored a total of six more water bottle refilling stations around campus. This not only facilitates an easier access to the glorious liquid that hydrates your body and mind, but also promotes sustainability on campus. If you received one of those water bottles, you also received some great information not only on the water bottle initiative but also other, more broader causes that the initiative supports.
